Dr. Elwell received her B.S. from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she graduated Summa cum Laude. She received her M.D. from Northwestern University, The Feinberg School of Medicine, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her post-graduate training at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Elwell is a clinical instructor in Pediatrics at Northwestern University Medical School and an Attending physician at Children's Memorial Hospital and in the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare system. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the American Medical Women's Association. Dr. Elwell grew up in Skokie and currently lives in Evanston with her husband, daughter, and golden retriever. She enjoys caring for children of all ages and their families, and watching them grow into adulthood. She joined North Suburban Pediatrics in November 2006. |
